Let’s welcome the new Academy of Friendship Co-Workers who received their degree at the mid-year convention in Tampa. They are: Rhonda Boisey, Sharon Demco, Jo Demperio, Liz Long, Tracy Torres and Marylou Applegate. They were recognized on May 9^th at our Chapter Night as they received their Academy of Friendship rings and pins.

Come join us for our fabulous cooking at the Monday Nite Fish Fry, Wednesday Fungo Kitchen, The third Thursday “Wings” and the occasional Pizza night. Also, our co-workers host the third Thursday “Steak Shoot Event”. We continue with our Tuesday and Friday night “Bake Sales”.  Ladies, cakes and pies (homemade or bought) are greatly appreciated for our bake sales.  Don’t wait for a phone call to bring in a cake or pie, bring one in anytime. Thank you for your support of all of these WOTM events.

We have several weddings and special occasions booked in the upcoming months so please volunteer when approached by our wedding coordinator, Gail Garrison.

Just a reminder on membership renewal; in the words of our Grand Chancellor Jan Fregulia, “when you get your renewal notice, send in the coupon with a check in the exact amount indicated.  You’ll get your card eventually. If it’s not correctly done, it goes into exceptions and might stay there until???” 

At the Mid-Year Conference, the governor and I pooled our monies together to purchase tickets on a “Moose Basket” containing a huge Moose, digital camera, and travel clock. We Won!!! It was a joint effort so we will hold another drawing for this basket at a later date.  The proceeds will go to the Roof Fund for the Florida Residents Hall at Moosehaven. Watch for further details.
