Hello Co-Workers
and
CONGRATULATIONS to our two Ritual
Teams who competed at our Annual State Conference in Tampa. The “old”
team was fortunate to have taken First
Place this year, and will be representing us at the International
Conference in Charlotte next June. The “new” team was very impressive,
placing 11th in the State on their first try!
A huge “THANK YOU” to all who helped with our November
Starlight Ballroom event. Even though this event was sponsored by the
two Ritual Teams, we couldn’t have done it without the support of all of
you wonderful volunteers who came out and helped.
We have several
wonderful events planned for December. First, our Christmas Ball
honoring our Past Governors and Senior Regents will be held on Saturday,
December 6th. A special guest for that evening will be our
new Deputy Grand Regent,
Vera
Smallridge. She will help celebrate and honor the very
special men and women who have contributed so much to our Lodge and
Chapter. On Sunday, December 7th, at
2:00 p.m., we will
have a special enrollment meeting in honor of Vera with dinner served to
all in attendance. . Please come out and support these two special
events. Co-workers, this is a great opportunity for those candidates you
have sponsored, but were unable to attend our Tuesday night enrollments
to be enrolled on this special Sunday. You are encourage to phone them
and let them know about this opportunity. On Tuesday, the 9th
at 7:00pm we will have our normal Chapter meeting and enrollment for
anyone who could not make it on Sunday. We have a very busy weekend
planned for December 20th and 21st. On Saturday,
the 20th the Youth Involvement Committee will sponsor our
Annual Children’s Christmas party from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. On Sunday
morning at 8:00 am, we will be making up and distributing our Christmas
Baskets for the less fortunate folks. If you have the time, we would
love to have you participate with us. On Wednesday, the 24th,
we will have our Annual Adult Christmas Party in the Social Quarters,
This is a great time to be with good friends … plus the food is always
wonderful.
We
hope you and yours have a safe and Merry Christmas. May God Bless each
and every one of you.
Yours in Faith, Hope & Charity
Jan Richardson,
Sr. Regent
See You
Next Year!
