Well, here we are, another two months have passed, and what a time it was!  We hope no one incurred too much damage from the hurricanes, either to your homes, lives or property.  The hurricanes have disrupted our social calendar somewhat.  The Luau will now be held on November 13, so please hold on to your tickets.

I want to thank all of you who helped with the children’s Halloween Party.  Youth Involvement Chairman, Tracy Torres, was aided by many.  A special thanks to Kathy Cox  for special effects and to Tracy Singleton for guidance on all aspects of the party.  The children and their families had a wonderful time.  Thanks to all involved.

We had guest speaker, Kathy Clinton, founder of Hidden Potentials in Titusville, FL, at the August Chapter night.  They specialize in tutoring for children with autism specific learning disabled (SLD).  Skills taught range from academics to social and self-help skills.  We helped out by donating a Mimosa Bear to be used by the children.

Remember, we have a Fish Fry every Monday Night, 5 to 7 pm.  Also, at  Fungo every Wednesday, we provide a Snack Bar from 5-7 pm.  And we have bake sales every Tuesday and Friday.  Gail Garrison coordinates weddings and other large affairs and can be reached at (321)454-3744.
